Even though blogs have received harsh criticism from the public and even the news media frontiers, Blogging is a huge part of the journalistic world today. Blogging has a huge positive on the journalist world. As a news seeker you have the ability to find way more news from different sources, different bias, and read unfiltered information. The audience can also be easily directed to other information along the subject they are reading by when bloggers link information to other sources and blogs. Also as a writer you can gather and find information at the click of a button, communicate with other sources, and deliver raw information to your audiences. One of the most beneficial things for a writer on a blog is not to have to be the one who breaks the story, with no deadline a journalist can strive to get the most in depth story, this allows a writer to get all the facts correct, digest the information they have gathered, and be able to write a more conversational piece. Most importantly writing with pure voice on the subject.
One-way news has converged by technology is that most news today on the Internet is arrgregated news, which is Lots of different news collected from different sources made easier for the audience to digest in one place. Technology has made news habits easier for its audience. Most blogs are just a writer covering aggregated news, providing the audience with more digestible news. This has forced more news companies to be more blog efficient. Most of your favorite News outlets have blogs full of aggregated news, and you may not even know it.
